How to Access Support
OVERVIEW
PATPA supports international efforts to engage in practical exchanges and political dialogue on climate transparency. The new Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) is particularly important in this context, as it helps build up mutual trust, fosters partner countries’ growing ambitions, and by this, helps to limit global temperature rise to well below 2°C, and ideally to 1.5°C. One way to access support is through the Climate Helpdesk. The Climate Helpdesk can help you design, implement, or update your Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), Long-term Low Greenhouse Gas Emission Development Strategies (LT-LEDS), or your transparency systems. Criteria to access support
The Climate Helpdesk accepts requests from developing countries and government agencies. Technical and other institutions and organisations that are working directly with national governments to plan and implement their NDCs, LT-LEDS, or transparency systems, may also request support, provided they are endorsed by the national UNFCCC focal point or the Ministry of Environment. Please visit our website or write to climate.helpdesk@giz.de for further information.
Possible timeframe
The Climate Helpdesk provides short term, ad hoc support.
