Objective

The CBIT-GSP project intends to organize a virtual webinar to introduce the available tools and approaches on establishing the effective institutional arrangements for transparency and to exchange on best practices from the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus on the topic.

The main objective of the virtual webinar is to support knowledge sharing on institutional arrangements for transparency by introducing available tools and approaches and showing practical examples and cases from the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus.
The participants will have an opportunity to share their progress on key elements of the institutional arrangements (e.g. organizational mandates and engagement with the stakeholders, legal frameworks, data flow processes and compilation of the reports, domestic and international expertise, etc.).

Background
Well-functioning institutional arrangements play a crucial role in transitioning towards the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) and support achieving the objectives of the Convention and the Paris Agreement. The properly working institutional arrangements at the national level are able to facilitate a consistent and continuous flow of data, engage national and subnational expertise, ensure coordination between institutions, and drive recurring, engaging and continuously improving outputs.
