As countries implement greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation projects to meet their nationally determined contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement, they will need to begin aligning the measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) for projects with the national GHG inventory to ensure that climate progress is captured in their national reporting.   This 60-minute webinar will present the GHG MRV Harmonization Framework, a step-by-step approach that can help countries address the MRV alignment challenge. Harmonizing project and national MRV is foundational for transparent tracking of NDCs and long-term, low-carbon planning.   During this webinar, the RALI team will share the experiences of implementing the MRV Harmonization Framework in Colombia and Peru for the Energy and Agriculture sectors. The sector-specific experiences are documented in two complementary guidance documents: Energy Sector Guide and the Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use Sector Guide.
