In a continued effort to strengthen climate transparency, UNDP with the support of the UNFCCC, CBIT-GSP and ICAT, will be hosting for the second year a 'Transparency Clinic' at COP29 in Baku between 11-22 November in the Blue Zone.
The clinic will provide one-to-one sessions for technical support by experts on transparency to all developing country negotiators and delegates relating to all things Transparency and Article 13!
Developing country representatives are encouraged to secure an appointment at the Transparency Clinic to take full advantage of this unique, expert-led support. Each appointment will address specific transparency needs which could include:
- Consultations on IPCC software and ETF reporting tools
- NDC tracking tools
- Reporting tables (CTF and CRT) and ETF reporting tools
- Q&A on Vulnerability mapping and risk assessment tools
- Q&A on adaptation reporting
- Digital MRV tool for climate reporting
- Mini-trainings for technical reviewers as part of the UNFCCC roster, capacity building for UNFCCC roster exams for technical review
- Customized support to CBIT and BTR requests for accessing GEF funds
- Queries related to the implementation of GEF-funded projects
- Facilitative Sharing of Views (FSV) preparation via South-South knowledge sharing
