This project will assist the Government of South Africa to prepare the Third National Communication (TNC) and first Biennial Update Report (BUR) of South Africa to enable the country fulfill its obligations under the UNFCCC, in accordance with Articles 4.1 and 12.1 of the Convention while strengthening its capacity to integrate climate change concerns into national and sectoral development plans and priorities through the implementation of the national climate change response strategy (NCCRS).
