The webinar provided the opportunity to launch the NDC Tracking Tool. An excel-based, easy-to-use tool developed by FAO, to support countries in collecting the information required to address the elements of chapter III of the MPGs. The tool covers five sectors: Energy, Transport, Industrial Process and Product Use (IPPU), Waste Management, Agriculture and Land Use, Land Use Change and Forestry (LULUCF). Based on information available in the country, the tool allows tracking the progress of NDC implementation by comparing the planned versus implemented mitigation actions and the achieved GHG reduction from mitigation actions against sectoral and/or national baseline and NDC target scenarios.
