Objectives Make visible the potential of the National Forest Inventories (NFI) as part of the National Forest Monitoring Systems (SNMF) to generate data and valuable information for decision-making on forest policies and the presentation of national and international reports. Launch the publication “National forest inventories in Latin America and the Caribbean: Towards the harmonization of forest information” to all interested parties and highlight the most relevant aspects of this work. Strengthen networking and knowledge about the NFI process to improve the quality and transparency of information.
