Sheila Kiconco is the CBIT-GSP Regional Network Coordinator for Anglophone Africa.
Sheila is supporting efforts in the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) in Africa. Sheila supports Anglophone Africa countries with establishing sustainable national GHG inventory management systems; and with building their technical capacities to meet the reporting requirements under the Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (MRV) system and the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) under the Paris Agreement.
Sheila has extensive experience in developing and implementing capacity-building programs in developing countries; training programs for developing countries and has a clear understanding of the UNFCCC processes. Sheila has practical experience in the area of enhanced transparency frameworks, NDCs, MRV systems reporting to the UNFCCC (BURs and NCs) in Africa.
Sheila has more than 10 years of national and international experience in climate change, working with international organizations and national level. Sheila’s academic background is MSc. in Environment and Natural Resources with a research bias on climate change and a bachelor’s Degree in Environment Management.
