The objectives of the proposed project are to build capacity within Senegal through the National Committee that will focus on improving the technical capacity of the Senegalese experts, and on developing an institutional and political framework favorable to the efficient and effective implementation of the objectives of the UNFCCC. This capacity building will involve identifying technological needs, the improvement of the capacity of the national experts to take part in the network of systematic observation, and identifying national projects relating to climate change.
