We are happy to invite you to a webinar on 'Strengthening monitoring and evaluation for adaptation in the agriculture sectors', as part of the FAO-UNDP “Integrating Agriculture in National Adaptation Plans” (NAP-Ag) Programme webinar series.   The webinar will provide an overview of the key steps for developing a national monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems for tracking adaptation in the agriculture sectors, in accordance with the M&E Guidance Note recently published by the NAP-Ag programme. During the webinar, Uruguay and Colombia will also share their experiences in developing and implementing M&E systems for adaptation. The webinar will also provide insights on tracking progress on adaptation under the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) of the Paris Agreement and discuss the alignment of M&E systems with emerging global reporting requirements. This event is also framed in the context of the FAO CBIT-AFOLU project activities helping countries increase transparency in adaptation, under which the M&E Guidance Note will be revised to address the ETF requirements.
