The side event "Enhancing transparency around NDCs for benefits beyond reporting - benefits of climate reporting beyond meeting international reporting requirements" at SB 50 is hosted by Georgia (MEPA), Germany (BMU) and the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT). The event presents results achieved and lessons learnt by countries supported under the IKI- funded project Information Matters and the multi-donor funded initiative ICAT. The side event will be held on Friday, June 21 from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at the World Conference Center Bonn in meeting room Bonn. As part of the side event, we will facilitate a panel discussion on country cases welcoming representatives from Chile, Ghana, Georgia, Sri Lanka and Viet Nam. Following this, a Q&A session will be held offering the opportunity to you to contribute your experiences to the event. Afterwards, we are also glad to welcome you at our reception. Attached please find the agenda and additional details regarding the side event. Please also consult the webpage of the Partnership on Transparency in the Paris Agreement (PATPA) for further information. For any questions related to the side event please get in touch with Oscar Zarzo (oscar.zarzo@giz.de) and Anne Weltin (anne.weltin@giz.de). We are looking forward to see you in Bonn!
