Reporting on adaptation in the agriculture and land use sectors under the Paris Agreement: Loss and damage assessment

This online learning event is part of a series on addressing transparency in agriculture and land use sectors organized by the FAO Transparency Team. The event has been organized in collaboration with the Global Support Programme and UNEP-DTU Partnership, and aims to:   Provide an introduction to adaptation reporting and the biennial transparency report (BTR)  Build understanding on how to report on Element G (information related to averting, minimizing and addressing loss and damage) of the Modalities, Procedures and Guidelines (MPGs)  Introduce the FAO Sendai C2 Methodology for Damage and Loss Assessment in Agriculture and how it can be used to report on the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF)  Share practical experiences in developing and testing a framework for measuring climate change related loss and damage in the agriculture sectors   Participants will also learn more about the upcoming activities of the CBIT-AFOLU project and the opportunity to join the FAO-led ‘Transparency in the agriculture and land use sectors network’.
