This webinar examines the role of Institutional Arrangements (IA) in the  Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) -  with a particular focus on the AFOLU sector.  Participants will learn more about the IA, the requirements for IA under the ETF, and how to improve their national GHG inventory systems to that end.   The webinar's main objectives are to:   Highlight the paramount importance of establishing and maintaining robust and sustainable IA for transparency. Showcase practical examples of how to establish and maintain robust and sustainable IA and national GHG inventory systems. Present the revised version of the IA templates of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) that can help countries identify the main elements for assessing their status and further improve their systems. Both the primary IA templates and the supplemental ones comprising the full updated package will be presented. Identify additional support needed from countries.   PLEASE NOTE: The main target audience of the webinar includes the CBIT-AFOLU countries (global project and national CBIT). Additional spaces will be available for experts joining the FAO Transparency in agriculture and land use sectors network, based on their expressed interest.
