The project entitled, ‘Strengthening National Institutions in Kenya to Meet the Transparency Requirements of the Paris Agreement and Supporting the Coordination of National, Regional and Global Transparency-related Activities in Kenya’ is a medium- size project. The project will be implemented by CI as the Implementing Agency and executed by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (MEF) through the Climate Change Directorate (CCD), the Secretariat for the System for Land-Based Emissions Estimation in Kenya (SLEEK) program, Vital Signs (VS) and the Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI). The project aims to build Kenya’s institutional and technical capacities to meet the requirements of the transparency framework under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.
