Overview

Project Objective: To assist Zimbabwe to comply with the requirements of the Enhanced Transparency Framework under the Paris Agreement on Climate Change   Project Component: Strengthening Zimbabwe’s capacity to collect and process climate change data into useful information for policy-making and reporting to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).   Project Outputs: Output 1. National institutions strengthened to coordinate, manage and implement climate transparency activities. Output 2. Technical support, training and tools provided to the country to submit transparent, consistent, comparable, complete and accurate greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories. Output 3. Technical support, training and tools provided to the country to track Nationally Determined Contributions (Mitigation/Adaptation) and support needed and received. Output 4. Technical support, training and tools provided to the country to use climate analysis in decision-making
