STATUS OF PROJECT OUTPUTS AND ACTIVITIES

1.1 Public and private entities are able to monitor, report and disseminate robust, transparent and verifiable climate-related data from their respective sectors
1.1.1 Institutional arrangements for MRV, dissemination, and sustainability over time of sectoral climate-related data are established
The projetc identify key stakeholders
Provided the structure and detailes institutional arrangements to be duly signed by the authorities.
It also developed guidelines on how to create new institutional arrangements, adjusted to the national processes.

1.1.2 National tools to ensure consistency and standardization in the monitoring and reporting of climate data are disseminated
The project developed the MRV system for:
GHG Inventory
Mitigation Projects
Climate Finance

It also developed guides and manuals on the use of the modules of the National Climate Transparency Platform, those modules allos the standarization of the information and how it is shared among different agencies to develop tha GHG inventory and reports on Mitigation Actions.

1.1.3 Public engagement mechanism for enhanced transparency framework is designed and implemented
A comunication and engagement plan was developed and a series of tools to increase engagement:
each module of the Climate transparency platform contains:
a. Ilustrarive text, easy to understand and invite the persons to explore more.
b. A video that explains the module (each video has close captions for people with hearing desabilities, and they were translated to the languages of the indigenous people of the country).
c. A book that sumarized the development of the Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF) was developed to reach out those without access to internet and the Climate Transparency Platform.

1.1.4 National Platform for Climate Transparency is established
The National Climate Transparency Platform was officially launched on february of 2022

1.1.5 Training for data compilers, suppliers and platform users is provided
A series of workshops and activities were developed to strengthen the capacities of the country to:
a. Gather data on the field to provide input to the GHG inventory and tracking progress of projects.
b. training courses on GHG inventory methodologies.
c. Internationa standards on information validation and verification.
d. Use of tools and models to generate mitigation scenarios.
