In a project encompassing the nine Contracting Parties (CPs) of the Energy Community, the EEA is committed to supporting new monitoring of progress to climate and energy targets specified in the adapted Governance Regulation.

The overall objective of the project is to support the CPs to fulfill their reporting responsibilities, and thereby to contribute to the goal of establishing an effective governance system for climate action. This is done through receiving and quality checking reported information from the CPs, and to provide expert advice on how to apply reporting guidance materials and procedures as used within the Governance Regulation setting. Final datasets will be collated and shared back with the Energy Community Secretariat and CPs.
