Overview

PaSTI-JAIF is endorsed by the ASEAN Working Group on Climate Change (AWGCC) and funded by the Japan ASEAN Integration Fund. This project aims to strengthen regional transparency through developing guidelines which summarize the preparation steps and expertise for government officials in each ASEAN Member State (AMS) for reference when developing a facility-level measurement and reporting system.

The guidelines summarize the preparation steps and expertise for government officials in each country for reference when developing a facility-level measurement and reporting system.
As the ASEAN Guidelines are relevant not only to government officials but also to the private sector, the Guidelines have been differentiated by chapter - for government and the private sector - for ease of reading.
Guidance for Operating Measurement & Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Pilot Projects in ASEAN Member States

The guidance for the pilot project provides steps for operating a pilot GHG reporting system as a demonstration. It is expected that those in charge of GHG M&R will be able to use the Guideline in order to establish a facility-level M&R system for GHG emissions, and finally be able to implement such a system.
