PaSTI, or the "Partnership to Strengthen Transparency for Co-Innovation," focuses on building capacity for domestic transparency systems with the involvement of the private sector. It was established under the Ministry of the Environment, Japan's transparency initiative.

The PaSTI project provides technical support in drafting legislation, building GHG accounting systems, developing calculation tools, and conducting capacity-building workshops and seminars. Additionally, in collaboration with international organizations and financial institutions, PaSTI promotes ESG finance, creating incentives for companies to calculate and report their GHG emissions. The project has been supporting Viet Nam, the Philippines, and Thailand.
